Now the story is that on a recent trip to a resort in Cancun Mexico, they offered a free scuba try out at the pool. I had wanted to try that years ago, but just never did for various reasons. And so after a try out in the pool, I was excited to take a beginner lesson the next day, where there was a classroom instruction, and after that a safety lesson and practice in the pool. Then it was onto the boat, and about a 54 minute dive in the Ocean, down about 18 ft. A whole new world of experience! And something I want to do again! There was a course offered to get certified, however, while I did consider doing that, it was going to take up too much of the vacation time and since there is a SCUBA shop in the city here, I will consider it this summer? Of course, that will have to fit in with whatever flying I can do. In the meantime, the airplane is waiting for a back order on new cylinders from Lycoming to finish an engine rebuild. Supply chain issues!! Good grief.
